Islamabad bolsters Beijing in Karakoram to open up Iran route

With Pakistan's backing, the CCP wants to turn the disputed Shaksgam Valley into a route for delivering weapons to Central Asia and Iran. The recent activation to this end of the once-dormant China-Pakistan Boundary Commission is viewed as a provocation by New Delhi, which appears powerless to act.
