In the cool of the UAE winter, when temperatures drop below 25°C, the café terraces of Abu Dhabi's Al Maryah Island provide a pleasant respite after a day's work. In was on such a Friday evening in November, when Em Sherif Sea Café, located a short stroll from the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), set aside a table for the small team of advisers that work for Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, brother and national security adviser to President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
