The Serious Organized Crime Agency has given executives in 20 leading British banks security clearance so that they can take part in investigations from the outset.
The Security Service, better known as MI5, is Britain’s counterintelligence service responsible for internal security. It is in charge of counterterrorism, fighting both dissident republican groups in Northern Ireland and dealing with the Islamist threat.
