Frontex executive director expands his powers
The European Commission is to publish a new, more far-reaching mandate for Frontex for the next ten years. Meanwhile, the agency's chief has just quietly consolidated his mandate by bringing foreign liaison officers – including many police officers and intelligence agents – under his control.
