A senior figure at Société Générale in France and Luxembourg taken into custody

Four senior executives of French bank Société Générale were taken into custody following national financial prosecutor ordered searches at the bank's Paris headquarters on 24 June. One of them was the head of the bank's operations in Luxembourg.
