Athens close to purchasing Naval Group frigate to mend ties with Paris

The Greek defence minister visited the French shipyard on Wednesday 4 June for a meeting which could prove crucial for mending Franco-Greek ties, which cooled after Paris approved the sale of MBDA missiles to Athens's arch-rival Turkey earlier this year.
