Trump tightens reins on Milei in bid to drive China out of Argentina

Washington is hardening terms it set out in 2023 for the Argentine president. Until now the US had allowed Buenos Aires to trade with China but barred Beijing from Argentinian strategic infrastructure. Eager to reach a new compromise, Javier Milei's inner circle is preparing a Chinese trip.
