China-EU summit: Beijing's state security pushes for tougher line with Brussels

With relations between Beijing and Brussels stagnating, China's Ministry of State Security is seeking a tougher line. It is pushing for an all-out response, including against dialogue efforts led by Beijing's diplomats and the ministry of commerce.
