Chinese Marseille consul preferred over ambassador to prep Xi Jinping's France trip

Having decided to abandon its wolf warrior diplomacy, the Chinese Communist Party has asked its ambassador in Paris to keep a low profile during preparations for Xi Jinping's May visit to Paris. Marseille consul general Dong Guangli is playing the lead role.
