Beijing's failure to get to grips with the Ukrainian crisis is leading it to seek outside help

Chinese intelligence services are increasingly seeking advice from outside the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Public Security (Gonganbu) in order to find a solid position on the Ukrainian issue. This use of external sources allows Beijing's leaders to absolve themselves of responsibility for any further poor decisions.

Western intelligence services keeping close eye on growing threat of civil war in Belarus

The state of high tension prevailing in Minsk has pushed security services in the US, the UK, Turkey and Ukraine to prepare for the possibility of matters taking a military turn. Lukashenko's inner circle is preparing to face guerilla-style attacks, but armed opposition groups do not exclude launching a conventional offensive, with support from their allies.
