Moscow sends drone experts from the Rubicon special unit to Caracas

Instructors from the elite unit were discreetly flown out to Venezuela in an Il-76 aircraft affiliated with the Russian armed forces. Their mission to train the local army in FPV and wire-guided drones is being closley watched by US and Ukrainian intelligence services.

The trial of the French cement giant and eight of its former executives for financing terror groups in Syria resumes this week in Paris. Central to the defence is the claim that the firm's dealings with France's DGSE intelligence service explain - or justify - its behaviour.
