    Xi Jinping's four contigency plans for a Kim–Trump summit

    Ahead of Xi's visit to the US on 24 September, Beijing is positioning itself as the only credible mediator between Washington and Pyongyang. Intelligence Online has learned that the Chinese Communist Party is preparing several plans for a Trump–Kim summit in four different cities, including in North Korea itself.

    The region's pressing need for anti-drone systems has spurred the Chinese defence industry to recently register a flurry of companies in the UAE's free zones. Its goal through these firms is to sell white-labelled solutions easily and discreetly to countries throughout the Gulf.
