Ron Wahid's financial dealings with asset managers in Kazakhstan in spotlight

A former director, dissatisfied with a settlement last year between Kazakhstan and funds linked to the entourage of its former president, is suing the current directors of these firms. This is shedding light on financial operations carried out by veteran investigator Ron Wahid, who has close ties to Kazakhstan.

Saudi businessman Ahmed Saleh bin Jubair heads several defence companies and is diversifying his activities in line with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's major industrialisation plans. Having once represented Turkish industry in the kingdom, he is now trying to step up technology transfers from Europe.
