Rare appearance of Xi Jinping's daughter sends message to Washington

Chinese President Xi Jinping's only daughter, Xi Mingze, has spent most her life out of the public eye. Her appearance at a dinner in Beijing in early July, which was caught on camera, sent a quiet message to the United States.

A Dubai criminal court has been hearing evidence of fraud and money laundering against more than 12 individuals and entities in the UAE litigation sector. Among the accused are lawyers, Gulf law firms and the CEO of London-listed dispute funder Litigation Capital Management.
