Despite the current standoff between Donald Trump and Mark Carney, US giant Amazon's cloud computing arm is pulling out all the stops to secure Canada's secret cloud contract. The firm is scrambling to recruit consultants with connections to the country's security apparatus, which appear unready at present to acquire their own sovereign intelligence technologies.
