The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) has just issued a request for information to find effective solutions for the real-time protection of the Pentagon's information systems. The move forms part DISA's work for the US Strategic Command (STRATCOM). The agency wants to install packages protecting the systems from the planting of malicious codes, unscheduled modifications, and manipulation of contents. The solutions must be able to detect any abnormal activity.
